As spring beckons it won’t be along at all until the 2015 World Series of Poker kicks off at the prestigious Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Starting May 27th and wrapping up July 14th, here’s a quick rundown of some of the most exciting new events this year’s series has in store for us all.

The Colossus (May 29th– May 30th)

Since being taken over by the Harrah’s Entertainment group, the World Series of Poker has been an absolute hotbed of fresh and exciting new activity year after year. Never dull in bringing progressive new ideas to the table, this year will mark the debut of the ‘Colossus’ – a $565 prize pool with a guaranteed winner of $5,000,000.

Turbo No-Limit Hold ‘em(June 26th)

Every single poker player out there likes to think they can handle their fair share of no-limit hold ‘em. However, Hyper No-Limit Hold ‘Em is notorious for setting the cat amongst the pigeons and truly determining who is capable of holding their nerve!

$10,000 Dealers Choice (July 3rd)

Sure, everyone knows that there are quite a few separate kinds of poker in terms of rules and format, though typically only one or maybe at a stretch two or three are played during any one session – right? Wrong, this year’s World Series will see the addition of a $10,000 dealers choice game which features a staggering NINETEEN variants!

Online Bracelet Event

As real and surreal continue to become even more integrated, that is in this instance the technological and the traditional physical forms of poker, it’s hardly surprising that this year’s WSOP will include and online event hosted by Crazy Vegas Casino.
